The Civic Mirror can be used in a wide variety of Ontario social studies courses. While its 100% fit with Civics 10 Open makes it almost irresistible, the program shouldn’t be limited to that course.
The Civic Mirror matches well with law, politics, economics, and history courses because it provides a class of students with simulated versions of each of these things. It should be noted that some schools are now using their Civics 10 use of the program as a launching pad to take the experiential learning to even greater (and more focused) heights in the Grade 11/12 courses a year or two later.
